Our work under the North Yorkshire Schools Framework Agreement encompassed the majority of the primary and secondary schools in the county, as well several social services buildings.
Protecting both the local and learning communities was a priority.
The Framework ran for five years, from July 2001, and took in over 120 schools, out of 190 schemes in total. The school projects involved the remodelling, refreshing and extension of existing buildings.
Every project was delivered in a live school environment. Giving careful consideration to phasing ensured minimal disruption. Naturally, Health & Safety and safeguarding were key factors; protecting both the local and learning communities was a priority.
