We play a vital role in helping local authorities meet public health improvement targets by working with public and private operators and have great relationships with leading contractors. We act as client advisors pre- and post-tender and work directly and indirectly for national sports governing bodies.
Commercial viability is a key driver. All clients appreciate robust facilities that balance low capital, operational, and maintenance costs with high-revenue returns.
We are committed to finding innovative ways to reduce the carbon emissions of these often heavily serviced buildings. Thermal zoning ensures user comfort, and heat extracted by the mechanical cooling of one area can be used to boost warmth elsewhere. We take advantage of heat acquired naturally by the path of the sun, whilst avoiding glare and reflections from excessive solar gain.
We are excellent communicators, taking the time to understand and accommodate the needs of all project stakeholders. Our design ethos uses creative thinking, collaborative working practices, compliance with sport design guidance, and consistent implementation of health and safety. Our reward is seeing the positive impact our buildings have on users’ health and wellbeing.
“Our approach to designing Sport, Leisure, and Wellbeing Facilities is to create compact and effective facilities that reflects our client’s modern approach to delivery.”
