THE CLIMATE CHANGE EMERGENCY IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE FACING OUR PLANET

As an RIBA Chartered Practice, we have been long-standing supporters of the RIBA’s environmental stance and their joining of the global Declare movement in 2019. We are ISO 14001 accredited, and we signed UK Architects Declare and the updated RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge in 2020.

The RIBA is providing architectural practices with stepped guidance to reach Net Zero emissions through review of operational energy, embodied carbon, potable water, and health + wellbeing. They are following recommendations from the Green Construction Board, who advise industry and government on the regulatory, policy and technical approaches needed to deliver zero carbon, zero waste, and biodiversity and environmental net gain in the built environment.
