Specialist care facility that sets the standard

Completed in March 2021, this was our first new build project with Exemplar and is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for dementia, mental health, older people, physical disability, and younger adults.

The 40-bed specialist care home supports adults living with complex mental health needs, neuro-disabilities, and neurological conditions, including Huntingdon’s and Parkinson’s disease. It offers small group living within four distinct units, each containing ten individual ensuite bedrooms, a dining room, quiet room, and main lounge. Communal facilities include therapy rooms, training rooms, a sensory bathroom, and a central Hub. Residents connect with nature and fresh air via direct links into the large, accessible garden.

Covid pandemic restrictions disrupted the site programme. We provided practical and technical advice to the contractor to help build a supportive working relationship and smooth progress.
