Living Plus/Places for People partnered with NHS North-East Lincolnshire CCG and Homes England to develop this facility for the over 55s.

Supporting ESH Construction, we have designed the building with health, wellbeing, and community in mind, incorporating HAPPI principles and dementia design guidance. The 60 modern, spacious apartments enable people to live independently but are adaptable and ‘care ready’, featuring level access showers and wet floor bathrooms. Full height windows and Juliet balconies maximise daylight.

The building’s heart is the light and airy entrance atrium, a vibrant space promoting easy navigation. Communal facilities like the cafe, promote a healthy, sociable lifestyle and can be used by families and friends. There is an assisted bathroom with a spa bath, hairdresser, main lounge, quiet lounge, and a hobby/reminiscence room. Landscaped external areas stimulate interest using planting, pathways, sitting areas, and activity zones.
