Warehouse converted to depot

The Manchester site is the fourteenth local depot we have completed for Parcelforce.

We helped to convert an existing 10,000 sq.m. warehouse with a single storey administration block, into a new parcel-sorting facility that handles operation of 115 delivery routes using a new mech conveyor installation.

We worked closely with the operators to develop a safe and efficient layout for the internal operational parking for delivery vans, working around the internal building columns and mech.

The design and construction team worked to a tight programme to complete the project ahead of the peak Christmas period, incorporating allowance for the landlord’s roof repairs.
