We are thrilled to be inspiring the next generation of Architects.
Sixth form student, Finley, is finishing his first year of A-levels at one of the local secondary schools and has just completed one week’s work experience with Watson Batty Architects in our Leeds studio.
Finley already has a keen interest in architecture and construction and got to grips with typical skills in architectural practice such as sketching, model making and 3D design. We also gave him the opportunity to sit down with a variety of team members at different stages of their careers, to talk about the day-to day life of working in the studio and some of the challenges and rewards of the projects they are working on.
Finley said he has really enjoyed his week with us and is seriously considering Architecture for future study and career.
