Great to see our design for Hempland Primary School at York with ISG Construction breaking ground.
This scheme will redevelop the old 1960s school building on the site into a cutting-edge, low-energy, contemporary learning environment for 420 pupils aged 4-11, with additional SEN support facilities.
During the design process, we worked closely with the school, part of the Pathfinder Academy Trust, through a series of Client Engagement Meetings to ensure the final design delivered both the school and pupils’ needs and met the Department for Education‘s rigorous building standards.
We look forward to following the construction as it progresses towards completion in time for the 2025 academic year.
