We celebrated a very special milestone on Thursday, 26th February 2026 — Watson Batty Architect’s 50th birthday!
Bringing together colleagues past and present, it was a fantastic afternoon of catching up, sharing memories, enjoying food and drinks, and reflecting on the journey we’ve been on over the last five decades.
A real highlight was hearing from our founder, Peter Batty, who started the company back in 1976 alongside partner Ron Watson. Listening to stories from those early days was a powerful reminder of the foundations WBA was built on and the values that continue to guide us today.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to mark the occasion and to all those who have contributed to the WBA story over the past 50 years. Here’s to the next chapter and the future ahead!
