STEM day at Bradford Primary School

Newly qualified Architect and STEM Ambassador, Kamila Kudlata, recently supported the STEM day at St Winefride’s Catholic Primary School in Bradford.

Kamila presented the role of Architect to the pupils and engaged them in an activity of designing their own bedroom.

The children had a fantastic day and there was some great feedback from the session:

❓ What did you like about the workshop?

“Designing our own ‘dream’ bedroom”

“We loved the school model she showed us”

“She gave us a really nice task to complete”

❓ What did you learn?

“We could be creative”

“About all the people that help architects and teamwork”

“How to get into Architecture”

❓ Any other comments?

“It was fun”

“It was exciting”

“We loved it, thank you!”

Many thanks to Michelle Hogan at own futures for organising the day and helping to inspire the next generation of future construction professionals!
