I joined Watson Batty in October 2009.

As a regional director, I am responsible for the resource and financial aspects of our East Midlands team.

I enjoy working with key stakeholders, end users, and communities on the early-stage design development. My cross-sector experience designing for sports and leisure, education, residential, extra care, and mental health shapes my approach to every brief.

Greater knowledge-sharing and collaboration is maximising the exciting opportunities available in sustainable design and the use of innovative technology, such as AI/VR/Internet/Digital Twins.

Watson Batty has signed ‘Architects Declare,’ and I am leading our journey to reduce carbon outputs and achieve Net-Zero 2030 in conjunction with the East Midlands RIBA. I am an active participant in re-assessing architectural education paths, advocating new initiatives such as The Way Ahead.
