“Architecture has a unique ability to bridge creative thinking with problem-solving.”
I joined Watson Batty in September 2025.
I am an Architectural Assistant working in the Sport & Leisure and Education sectors on feasibility work through to Stage 5 design in support of my Part 3 studies. Our office environment offers a great sense of collaborative teamwork and shared learning.
My skills lie in creative problem solving, conceptual thinking, and translating ideas into spatial and material forms using sketches, physical and digital models. Witnessing people’s interactions with finished spaces is incredibly rewarding, but the concept phase is where a project comes to life, being driven by curiosity and free imagination.
Architecture should positively influence how people live, move, and feel within a space. I examined sustainable design for my master’s dissertation; particularly how innovative and adaptive re-use can help solve complex challenges in the social and environmental dimensions of design. By considering circular building philosophies, I hope to fulfil our ethos to create truly sustainable and inclusive architecture.
