“My thoughtful designs offer comfort and wellbeing.”

I joined Watson Batty in 2014.

I am an associate specialising in later living and care, with previous experience in the education, industrial, and hospitality sectors.

We have an ageing population who deserve to inhabit inclusive environments. Sometimes creating a comfortable, homely environment means responding to the specific challenges people encounter at a difficult time in their lives.

I have been inspired by an ‘Intersection of Dementia & Design’ university course, which is driving me to improve the sensitivity of our inclusive design skills. I am also investigating how our deepening understanding of dementia and hidden disabilities can be applied cross-sector.

My careful approach to using colour and materials to achieve a specific effect extends into my bespoke interior design work, where I have delivered many high-quality interior schemes in the commercial, education, and extra care sectors.
