Architectural Assistant

Eleanor Robinson

BA (Hons)

“I want to create unique buildings and spaces.”

I joined Watson Batty in September 2022.

I came straight from university to work as an architectural assistant during the first stage in my professional training to become a fully qualified architect.

Architecture is an inspiring discipline, and I have always been interested in how we work with other designers to solve problems and improve the built environment.

I hope to try working in different sectors as I gain practical experience. My main interest is in sustainable design and how architects can reduce the negative impact buildings have, both locally and globally. I am keen to learn more about this in practice and investigate how future architectural design can have a more positive, beneficial impact. It will be interesting to see how the construction industry pulls together to tackle the significant environmental pressures we face.
