I joined Watson Batty in 2016.
My role is to manage all the financial aspects of the architectural services we deliver to customers and resolve queries from employees and clients.
Day-to-day, I monitor project expenditure against each progress stage and am responsible for checking and issuing invoices.
Managing cash-flow is vital to our business, so I support our employees with weekly timesheet completion and reconcile everyone’s monthly expenses. Accurate timesheets enable our practice to make better fee forecasts.
To keep the management team up to date, I participate in regular meetings with the board directors, the management team and project leads, to discuss my progress reports, which cover fees, credit control, budgets, management accounts, and any other financial business.
