Leading-edge teaching, training and conference facilities

The Smith & Nephew Surgical Skills Centre is a flagship education facility located in the heart of York Science Park. The new facility provides leading-edge teaching, training, and conference facilities that complement the park’s current administration, research, and development activities. It offers international training across the entire Smith & Nephew product range, including arthroscopy, orthopaedics, and wound management.

We were appointed to support the detailed design and delivery of the internal refurbishment and alteration of the existing research centre to create the new skills centre. This project involved the detailed coordination of complex specialist services and equipment, together with the roll-out of Smith & Nephew’s corporate brand across the interior spaces.
