I joined Watson Batty in August 2004.

I am an associate director overseeing the industrial sector, with a wider responsibility for practice operations and resource.

Delivering large-scale projects in logistics tests my ability to anticipate the best future use of a client’s facilities and draws on my multi-sector experience. I understand how an organisation’s production operations flow and respond with an efficient design that accommodates complex automated functions and specialist equipment.

I have an intricate understanding of Royal Mail’s technical operations and have assisted with refining their design and technical standards during our long-standing relationship. I guide them in the masterplanning of large distribution sites, right down to the interior fit-out.

Our future challenges will be delivering zero carbon on a massive scale and incorporating ever-developing technology against a backdrop of rising costs.
