New delivery office on a complex site

The Nine Elms Delivery Office development in London was built to enable the relocation of existing staff from the original site just under a mile away in Vauxhall and release the land for development.

Completed in June 2017, the replacement facility caters for over one hundred postal routes and includes a new 5,100 sq.m. delivery office with space for letter sorting machines, a vehicle service centre, and 6,000 sq.m. multi-deck car park.

We inherited a scheme at Stage 3 and fully undertook a technical review to improve the buildability. Constructed to meet the BREEAM Excellent standard, the project delivers the highest standards of sustainable design by integrating features such as LED lighting and photovoltaic panels.
