I joined Watson Batty in March 2025.

I am a junior architectural technician working in the Living sector and completing my degree at university.

Even as an extremely organised person, the fast-paced working environment in the office keeps me on my toes. Deadlines come round very quickly! I am lucky my colleagues willingly offer guidance when needed, so my skills are developing rapidly. I tackle many different tasks each week and love the fact that no two days are the same.

I was drawn into architecture by the sheer broadness of it. We are surrounded by a huge variety of building types, whose design quality impacts everyone who uses them or passes them in the street. I want to positively influence this final design quality, combining a beautiful outcome with increased sustainability and cost efficiency. Buildings should benefit everyone.
