I joined Watson Batty in 2001.

Previously working as the accounts assistant, I have held an accounts manager position since 2016. My role is to manage all the non-project-related financial aspects of running the business and provide general support to the office.

I am responsible for every element of the company payroll, including tax, national insurance contributions, and expenses. I organise regular staff payments, such as professional subscriptions and help with the weekly task of gathering-in employee timesheets.

 

An important element of my role is preparing the monthly management accounts to issue to the accountants for external audit and undertaking a quarterly review. I also complete financial duties associated with the facilities management of our practice’s premises, including paying the rent, utilities, maintenance, and all other bills.
