I joined Watson Batty in 2015.

My career as an architectural technician began over 30 years ago and almost by accident. During an office junior placement, I was offered the chance to learn how to use a drawing board and pens. I quickly became fascinated by the work going on in the office and was supported in studying at Leeds College of Building on day-release, followed by Leeds Metropolitan University.

For 23 years, I worked on major industrial projects for a design & build contractor, so my primary specialism is producing very accurate and detailed technical drawings packages. I am proactive in helping contractors during the construction phase to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. I have successfully delivered all categories of buildings from small-scale extensions to major industrial developments up to a million sq.ft.
